Communication starts with the basics. Communication Skills provides the foundation for better communicating by teaching the Constants of Communication in business writing, presentations, interactions, and voice-mail/email.


Objectives:

To give participants the basics of effective communication in writing, presenting, interacting, and listening.
To provide knowledge, models, and templates for future business communication success.
To prepare participants for more specific communication training including Presentation Skills and Business Writing.

Method:
Participants' communication abilities are assessed in an online survey.
Concepts are introduced, followed by exercises using company-specific examples.
Participants are videotaped to facilitate learning.
Two instructors lead breakout sessions for training effectiveness.
